The Goobay 55422 CAT 6A patch cable is engineered for interconnecting active and passive network components within high-speed local area Ethernet deployments. The unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) configuration layout omits overall or individual pair shielding, ensuring high physical flexibility for internal routing inside electrical conduits or server enclosures. Internal conductors are composed of pure stranded copper (CU) with an AWG 26/7 gauge cross-section, reducing signal attenuation and securing reliable signal transmission up to 500 MHz frequencies at data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps. The external sheath material is manufactured from low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) compound, satisfying structural indoor fire safety compliance benchmarks. Equipped with dual pre-molded RJ45 (8P8C) connectors, the hardware interface features gold-plated contact pins (50µ PINs) to intercept surface oxidation and stabilize contact continuity. The connectors incorporate double-sided snagless latch protection along with integrated strain reliefs to control the minimum bend radius at termination points.
